Calcium Chloride

Definition: A white deliquescent salt CaCl2 used in its anhydrous state as a drying and dehumidifying agent and in a hydrated state for controlling dust and ice on roads. Calcium Chloride is hydroscopic (attracts moisture) and is exothermic (produces heat).

Effective Temp: EF -25°F
Granular Type/Size: Available in pellet or flake form
How it is sold: In bags in most hardware stores, or online in 50lb bags
